Does Plan2Live read Guide tracks in Spanish or Portuguese?
The short answer
Yes. Plan2Live reads the spoken section cues on Guide tracks in English, Spanish or Portuguese, on your Mac, and names the section markers after them. Set Guide Language in the Options card to Español or Português. Guide reading has been tested on Apple Silicon Macs.
It also understands Spanish and Portuguese stem names, and the app itself can be set to Spanish. Its screens are in English or Spanish.

How Plan2Live does it
Pick the Guide's language
In the Options card, set Guide Language to the language spoken on your Guide tracks: English, Español or Português. If your song titles look Spanish, Plan2Live offers to read the Guides in Spanish.
The Guide is read on your Mac. The audio isn't uploaded anywhere. Guide reading has been tested on Apple Silicon Macs.
Spanish and Portuguese stem names
Plan2Live puts each stem on a track by its file name, and Spanish and Portuguese names work too, for example Batería, Guitarra Eléctrica, Teclado, Coros, Guía and Claqueta.
- Click: Click, Click Track or Metronome, or Claqueta, Clic, Clique or Contagem.
- Guide: Guide, Guide Track, Cues or Guide Vocal, or Guía or Guia.
The app in Spanish
In Settings, Language / Idioma, set App Language to Español. From version 2.8.3, the whole app follows it: its screens, windows and messages. The language your Guide tracks are spoken in is a separate choice.
When there are no spoken names
If no cue is heard, the sections are numbered or spaced evenly, or the song gets placeholder markers. You can rename any marker in Live.
What it doesn't do
- The app's screens are in English or Spanish, not Portuguese.
- Guide reading has been tested on Apple Silicon Macs.
- Plan2Live is a Mac app (macOS 14.6 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel). The site's pages in Spanish are at /es.
