For worship teams
Leer en españolThis week's songs, built into an Ableton Live set.
Bring the plan in from Planning Center, or type the songs in if your church doesn't use it. Plan2Live finds each song's stems in your folders and builds the set in Ableton Live's Arrangement View, in service order, ready to rehearse.
Mac only (macOS 14.6 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel) · Ableton Live Standard or Suite

How it works
Bring in the setlist
Import a plan from Planning Center, or type each song with its key, tempo and time signature. Planning Center is optional.
Point at your stems
Choose the folders on your Mac where your stems live: one folder per song, named after the song. If the app isn't sure which folder belongs to a song, it asks you.
Build and rehearse
Click Generate, open the set in Ableton Live, and give it a listen before rehearsal.
What's in the set
- The songs in service order, each with its own key, tempo and time signature (4/4, 3/4 or 6/8).
- Your stems on the set's tracks, song after song.
- Your click and guide stems on the set's Click and Guide tracks. The built-in template doesn't make a click, so bring a click stem.
- Section markers named from the spoken cues on your Guide track (English, Spanish or Portuguese; tested on Apple Silicon Macs) or from the song's sections in Planning Center. Without either, the markers are numbered or placeholders, and you can rename them in Live.
What it doesn't do
- It runs on a Mac only.
- It builds in Arrangement View, not Session View.
- It doesn't supply stems. You bring your own.
- The built-in template doesn't make a click. Bring a click stem.
- It needs Ableton Live Standard or Suite. Intro and Lite allow too few tracks for the built-in template.
Your own template (beta)
Already have your own Ableton Live 12 template? Custom Templates (beta) builds the set into it, in Arrangement View. It has been tested on a limited set of rigs so far. It's open on every plan in the beta.
What it costs
- Try 2 full builds free, no card, no time limit.
- Plus and Pro come with Guide analysis (section markers from your Guide's spoken cues), tempo automation (each song's tempo and time signature in the set), stem transpose (stems moved to the song's key) and stem auto-wire (every stem on its own track). Your free builds get every one of them too.
- One new set a week fits in Plus: 20 builds a month for $69 a year (about $1.33 a week), or $7/mo.
- Pro is $129 a year (or $16/mo) for 50 builds a month, and Project History keeps every set you've built, ready to reopen.
Questions
Do we need Planning Center?
No. If your church plans in Planning Center, you can import the plan. If it doesn't, type the songs into Plan2Live.
Will it read the cues on our guide tracks?
If your Guide stem has spoken section cues, like "verse" or "chorus", in English, Spanish or Portuguese, Plan2Live listens for them and names the markers after them. This has been tested on Apple Silicon Macs. When it can't hear section names, the markers are numbered or placeholders, and you can rename them in Live.
Where do the stems come from?
From your Mac. Plan2Live doesn't sell or supply stems. It reads the folders where you already keep them.
What do we need?
A Mac with macOS 14.6 or later, Ableton Live Standard or Suite, and your stems in one folder per song.
