Install Guide

Download the latest DMG, install Plan2Live, and start from Planning Center or build a set manually.

Apple Silicon (M1+) or Intel Mac · macOS 14.6+

Ableton Live 10, 11, and 12 supported. Live 12 recommended.

Install

  1. 1. Open the downloaded .dmg.
  2. 2. Drag Plan2Live.app into Applications.
  3. 3. Eject the DMG.

Updating from an older build

For Plan2Live 2.6.9 build 44, use a clean reinstall if a normal app update or replacing the app did not fix generation.

  1. 1. Quit Plan2Live.
  2. 2. Move Plan2Live.app from Applications to the Trash.
  3. 3. Download the latest DMG for your Mac.
  4. 4. Open the DMG and drag Plan2Live.app back into Applications.

This removes only the old Plan2Live app bundle. Do not delete your stems, Ableton projects, or Plan2Live folders.

If macOS blocks it

  • Right-click Plan2Live and choose Open.
  • Or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Signing in

If you use Planning Center import or account features, macOS may show a secure confirmation from our login provider. Click Continue to finish signing in.
