Privacy Policy

Plan2Live™ (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a macOS desktop application that connects with Planning Center and Ableton Live to automate worship set preparation. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

Account Sign-In

Your email address and account profile details, used to sign you in and manage your subscription. If you use email/password sign-in, your password is handled by our account sign-in service and is never stored in the Plan2Live app itself.

Planning Center Connection

Your Planning Center connection details are stored locally on your Mac in ~/.plan2live/user_config.json. They are never sent to our servers.

Usage Analytics

We collect privacy-safe, limited usage events (e.g. “generation started”, “upgrade viewed”) to understand how the app is used and improve it. When you are signed in, your email may be associated with these events. You can opt out by contacting us.

Crash Diagnostics

If the app crashes, our crash diagnostics service captures a report including device OS version, app version, and a technical stack trace. No personal data is attached to crash reports.

What We Don't Collect

  • ✓Your Planning Center song library or service content
  • ✓The generated Ableton project files or audio stems
  • ✓Your location, contacts, or microphone/camera
  • ✓Any data from your Mac beyond what is described above

How We Use Your Data

  • →To diagnose crashes and fix bugs

Current providers: Supabase (account sign-in), Stripe (billing), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash diagnostics).

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time by emailing feedback@plan2liveapp.com. We will remove your email and subscription record within 30 days. Usage analytics are retained in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
